The vision of Help a Child is for all children to have a life in dignity, with love, and with a promising future. Therefore, the ultimate objective of the CCCD project is to contribute to the sustainable improvement of child well-being within the served communities. The CCCD Manual guides partners in preparing, designing, and implementing a Help a Child funded CCCD project. Find below the manual and associated templates.

Community-Based Complaints and Feedback Mechanism
As part of our CHS commitment, Help a Child wants community members to be able to easily share their ideas, concerns, or complaints in relation to the CCCD implementation and staff behavior. Therefore, they should have easy access to channels that allow them to give their feedback. The Community Based Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CBCFM) Guide (see below) explains how Help a Child wants to strengthen adequate mechanisms that allow for good communication with communities.

Self-Help Group Manual
The Self-Help Group (SHG) approach is a method to reduce poverty and give people access to loans and training. Help a Child embraces this approach as it empowers people to become self-reliant and it enables the parents to better provide in the basic needs of the children. Households are organized in groups, where they meet on a regular basis. You can read more in the Self-Help Group Manual, developed by Kindernothilfe.
