The participatory toolbox is a means to facilitate sustainable empowerment processes within marginalized communities. At the core of this process lies our agenda of children’s wellbeing. Participatory tools are often used at the start by development programmers for collection of information. However, the tools can be used at any time during the life of a program, depending on the needs. Not just to serve program management purposes, but also to empower communities.
The participatory toolbox can be used for various purposes:
- Raising awareness
- Collecting information
- Analysing data
- Monitoring and Evaluation
